Grammy Awards for Richard King!
Focal Press would like to congratulate author Richard King for receiving two Grammy awards for the Best Engineered Album, Classical for his work on John Adams City Noir and for the Best Engineered Album, Non-classical for Bass & Mandolin.
A multiple Grammy award winning recording engineer, Richard King is associate professor and chair of sound recording at McGill University. He is also part time-faculty at Banff Centre and a member of the Centre for Interdisciplinary Research in Music, Media, and Technology.
Richard is the author of the forthcoming How to Record an Orchestra and Other Classical Music Ensembles (Focal Press 2016), which is part of the “AES Presents” series.
